Global Village program -- Habitat for Humanity Int'l 1
Global Village program
Habitat for Humanity International’s Global Village trips give participants a unique opportunity to become active partners with people of another culture. Team members work alongside members of the host community, raising awareness of the burden of poverty housing and building decent, affordable housing worldwide. As partners, team members help build a true global village of love, homes, communities and hope!

Disaster response in China and Myanmar
Since Cyclone Nargis hit Myanmar and an earthquake devastated China, the Global Village department has received numerous calls from volunteers asking how they can help. You can help today by directing a donation to Habitat’s disaster response for Myanmar or China.
If you are interested in physically helping rebuild communities, please join one of our Global Village teams. They frequently travel to areas impacted by natural disasters, including countries affected by the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and U.S. Gulf Coast communities affected by hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
