Visiting our office

The RV Care-A-Vanner manager’s office is now mobile. This transition occurred during COVID, when the office was closed for an extended time. If you would like to visit the area or are just passing through, HFHI maintains a small, full-hookup campground. There is a small building with a kitchen, two bathrooms and a washer and dryer. For reservations, please contact Mary Vandeveld at [email protected]. There is no cost, but donations are appreciated.

Be sure to visit the HFHI office while in the area. It is located in the Clarence Jordan Building at 322 West Lamar Street, just 3 blocks from the RV park. On the office walls, they have a history of Habitat from its beginning and some artifacts to observe. Americus is a quaint Southern town and walking distance from your RV.
